 by victor chavez :Mario is a fictional character in the mario video game franchise, created by nintendos japanese video game desinger, shigeru miyamoto.serving as the company's mascot and the eponymous protagonist of the series, mario has appeared in 200 video games since his creation.                                                                                                            Shigeru Miyamato has been helping create games for Nintendo since 1981. In the late 1970s Nintendo was going bankrupt. Miyamato then made two characters, Donkey Kong and Mario (then called Jumpman), for the game Donkey Kong (1981). He has been the supervisor of many games,      like the Mario and Zelda games.  Has rejected several offers from game companies to stay with Nintendo.
